Well done to our swimmers competing at our distance champs this week, we saw many fast swims and personal best times. Thanks to our team of coaches and volunteers for helping them run so smoothly, it was lovely to see new faces helping. Our next event is the 400m on Wednesday evening, warm up 6pm for a 6.30pm start. There is still time to enter, please do this by Tuesday evening.
Our efficient volunteers coordinator/ awards organiser Emma is stepping down. This role can easily be split into two smaller roles. The volunteers coordinator organised Team managers to be present in poolside at competitions. The awards organiser liaises with Karl and purchases trophies/medals/ gets the shields engraved at Coopers in Cambridge, twice a year. Both lovely roles, please help, it would be great to have these roles filled before our AGM on 13th July.
Unfortunately, no one has volunteered for the chair position. I will stay on but we do need someone to take over as I won’t be around for ever.
Galas open for entry:
No galas currently open.
A reminder our own sprint club champs will be at Newmarket on Sunday 16th November.
Training changes:
Please remember no mobile phones should be used in the changing rooms.
Club champs on Wednesday 2nd July, therefore no training will be on. 6pm warm up. All other training on as usual.
