Hi everyone, and welcome to the Bottisham Swimming Club newsletter for the week ending 20th June.

News:

This weekend it’s the London Gators meet at the London Aquatics centre. If you need to withdraw, please contact our meets team by 8pm tonight as Gators need to know tonight. Good luck to everyone competing and thank you to our coaches and Team Managers supporting our swimmers.

Wednesday sees the first distance club champs events. Training is not on as the races are scheduled instead. Warm up will be from 6pm at Bottisham with racing starting at 6.30pm. We do need volunteers to help, if we do not have enough adults,  the events will be cancelled. Please contact me if you are available to timekeep (you do not have to be qualified), support swimmers on poolside or officiate. Our club relies on parents to volunteer to ensure we can run these events. I look forward to receiving many emails!

Please remember to take water to training.

Galas open for entry:

You should have all had an email invite for the club champs distance events. Have a go and try something new, it’s only our club in a very relaxed setting.

Training changes:

Please remember no mobile phones should be used in the changing rooms.

No changes to swim training.
