Tokens, the final chance – and another project, please vote!

As a final reminder, please collect up all of your Cambridge News Tokens and bring them to training on Wednesday. If you can’t get to training on Wednesday, please take them directly to any branch of the Cambridge Building Society in an envelope marked “Bottisham Swimming Club” with the number of tokens written on the outside. They need to be handed in by noon on Thursday 24 August or they won’t count.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative. We’ll let you know how we get on at the presentation on Wednesday 6 September.

And now to the next project – A Squad swimmer Nick’s parents have kindly nominated the club to be shortlisted for a grant from the One Family Building Society. We have asked for a grant of £10,000, which would enable us to buy new blocks for Impington which could also be used by the community, a Start System for our Club Champs, and other training equipment, hardware and software that will benefit the club for years to come. In order to get this, we need to be successful in a public vote. That’s where we need your help again!

To vote, you need to register with One Family, find us, then click a button. That’s all. The important link is this one – please share it with friends, family, workmates, and anyone in your local community who might be able to give us a hand.

The closing date is Wednesday 6 September and any UK resident over 18 can vote. Thank you!
