Just a reminder that our summer pool and dryside training schedule starts on Monday, with the last normal sessions on Sunday at Impington. The schedule is here. It runs from 24 July to 24 August, when we return to normal.
We understand that swimmers and parents are starting now to make decisions about the next school year. Please do discuss with Karl if there are any changes to your own schedules that will make it difficult to train or compete in accordance with the criteria laid down for your squad, which you can find here. If you are planning to leave the club in September, please let us know as soon as possible by email to email@example.com – thank you.
This year, we are rearranging summer training to reflect the reduced number of swimmers we tend to have in the pool. Here is the new schedule, which will run from 24 July to 24 August 2017:
Monday sessions at Impington will remain the same;
Tuesday open water training at Milton Country Park runs all summer;
Wednesday sessions at Bottisham: C squad and lanes 3 and 4 of B squad will swim 6-7pm; A squad and lanes 1-2 of B squad will swim 7-8pm;
Thursday sessions at Bottisham: will be 6-7pm land training for A and B squads together, then 7-9pm swim for both squads together (for as long as you want to swim!); and
Sunday sessions at Impington: C squad and lanes 3 and 4 of B squad will swim 5-6pm; A squad and lanes 1-2 of B squad will swim 6-7pm.
The full training schedule will kick back in on Sunday 27 August for the last week or two before term resumes. Any queries or issues, please let me know.
