Calling Dads and Male Carers…

Bottisham Swimming Club would like to recruit a male Welfare Officer. As a SwimMark accredited club we must have at least one Welfare Officer, and I have fulfilled this role for the last few years. But having two Welfare Officers, one male and one female, is highly recommended, which is why we are keen to recruit a male officer.

As Welfare Officer you will provide a first point of contact for children, parents and adults within the club who have a child safeguarding or welfare concern. You must be prepared to go on a safeguarding course, if you have not already done so, and also a Time to Listen course, both of which will be about 3 hours long and which will equip you to perform the role.

If you feel you could fulfil the role of male welfare officer for Bottisham Swimming Club, or would just like to better understand what the role involves please get in touch on: welfare@bottishamswimclub.org.uk or find me poolside.

Many thanks,

Cathryn
